As-salam alaykum! (Greetings and peace be with you!) I am Moroccan Barbie! I live in Morocco, one of the most exotic countries in the world. Everywhere you look, you will see dramatic contrasts in the people, customs, styles and in the climate. In fact, the range in climate is so great, we say our country is ' cold with a hot sun'!

When you come to Morocco, you will see the stunning beauty and intricacy of ancient Islamic architecture, like the famous Hassan II Mosuq, (place of worship and celebration) a gift from a grateful nation to its King. There is so much to experience-gorgeous blue and white pottery from Fez (a region of Morocco), the popular Berber carpets, the superior embroidered native costumes, night-blooming jasmine, tropical fruits and the exotic scents of Moroccan spices.

Moroccan food is very tasty! Try some Harira (spicy soup made with lamb) served with Khobz (flat bread) to dip in the delicious, thick soup broth! A tadeonal delicacy in my country is pastilla (spiced pigeon meat) encased in warkha (a flaky pastry dusted with cinnamon and sugar). Mmm-mm, delicious!

Traveling through Morocco you will discover vibrant beaches, Portuguese fishing ports, lush oases in pink desert plains, and mountain ranges for skiing, hiking or just walking.

In the arid, misty regions, you will find argan trees, which often provide a 'treetop' surprise--little goats who find the leaves a delicious treat to eat!

I am dressed in an authentic Moroccan style dress, veil and jewelry. Although Moroccan women still wear the I'tam (face veil), most common is the simple headscarf like the one I am wearing.
